Sadly, Christians are typically known for the things they’re against, rather than the things they’re for. Here’s what we’re about … Jesus. Our sin has separated us from God, but Jesus’ death and resurrection paid the penalty for our sin and restored our broken relationship with God. Because of Jesus we now get to approach God with boldness and confidence as sons and daughters. Not because of anything we’ve done, because of what Jesus has done for us. We’re also about community with each other. The body of Christ is diverse. The gospel unifies a diverse population of ages, personalities, races, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, education levels, senses of fashion, and social cues. It honestly doesn’t make sense how people so different could ever get along. We strive to be a place that fosters a community so uncommon that people skeptical of what we believe can’t argue with how well we love each other.
