Community Outreach Pastor


The Community Engagement Associate Pastor exists to build strong relationships with the local community, help create a culture of evangelism, and provide avenues for people to mobilize the gospel. 


  • At least a bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience in prison and recovery ministry
  • Experience in building partnerships
  • Experience in mobilizing volunteers
  • Experience in building and leading teams
  • Training in disciple making


  • Skills in relationship building and networking
  • Skills in tracking processes within a database (CCB)
  • Build volunteer teams across all ministries
  • Skill in communicating via digital communications such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. 
  • Skilled in time management and able to work as a team player
  • Skill in task management and coordinating on and off campus events 


  • Build partnerships with our 5 pillars
  • Lead Community Engagement and Freedom Ministry Teams
  • Lead the ministry of Freedom Church. This may include, but is not limited to: worship, evangelism, connect groups, grow groups, team development, financial oversight and multiplication.
  • Implement, organize, and oversee various Outreach events
  • Create Gospel Outreach Teams to boost an evangelism culture
  • Organize and assist various outreach events on campus
  • Empower Connect groups for the purpose of Outreach
