We want to give you an update on our BIG GIVE. First, we are excited to announce that because of your generosity and pledges, we have met our financial goal! And now it’s time to begin building! You’re going to notice some changes around campus. Construction crews will be setting up perimeter fencing and working hard to create our new lobby, pavilion, and baptism area. This means things are going to look a little different around here. Some parking will be adjusted, as well as a few of the entrances and exits. We know this may cause a change in routine for you, so please be patient. We’ll do our best to make it clear where to enter and leave. But it’s exciting to begin building what we all contributed to! If you’re curious to see what’s coming, check out our APP for all the building renderings. We can’t wait to see how this helps us reach more and more people right here at home!
What to Expect: During this phase, we will see temporary fencing in place to help secure and maintain the various worksites. The construction crews will spend this phase rerouting underground water, electrical, and gas lines as well as creating the necessary piping and drainage for the outdoor baptistery.
What to Expect: This period of work will be focused on pouring the pavilion and lobby foundations, as well as setting the necessary CMU (concrete block walls) in place for the elevator shaft and new bathrooms.
What to Expect: This will be an exciting phase, because this will be the first phase in which we will see structures being raised! During this phase, construction crews will be setting up the steel framework and roof of the pavilion and lobby, as well as installing many of the windows and walls.
What to Expect: This phase will run congruently with the end of Phase 3. We may see temporary construction fencing come down, landscaping plants and flowers put in place, and more of our normal pathways opening up.
