Receptionist - P/T

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve the body of First Colleyville by providing phone and receptionist duties and various administrative tasks on behalf of the church staff. Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer church phone, screen and direct calls with a positive and helpful spirit.
  • Create an atmosphere of kind helpfulness.
  • Patiently meet the needs of the staff, members, visitors, and callers.
  • Maintain church office reception areas.
  • Review/respond/redirect church voicemail.
  • Greet, screen and direct visitors.
  • Distribute daily mail and maintain staff mailboxes.
  • Sign for/accept deliveries and notify recipients of shipments.
  • Order and distribute staff administrative supplies.
  • Process prayer requests, copy and distribute to staff. 
  • Provide financial assistance forms to requesting members and contact Pastor Dale.
  • Assist with office organization and data/file management.
  • Attend weekly Staff Meetings and periodic staff training.
  • Receive, fulfill, notify purchaser, and process payment for book orders.
  • Maintain organization and fulfill tablecloth reservations for events.
  • Assist confirming/verifying vendor information for New Vendor Request form. 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

  • High School diploma
  • At least 2 years prior office experience
