Graphic Designer / Social Media Coordinator


To support the ministries of First Colleyville by providing excellent graphic design and social media coordination for the church.


  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.)
  • Experience in marketing and graphic design
  • Experience in current social media platforms and trends
  • Experience in website development, design, and management is a plus
  • Experience in video and audio production is a plus


  • Must be a team player who is able to take direction professionally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet various deadlines
  • Ability manage multiple concurrent projects 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Provide assistance with certain special events
  • Attend weekly Staff Meetings and periodic staff training
  • Ability to manage multiple social media accounts
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor


  • Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements
  • Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Work with communications director to develop social media strategy
  • Plan, implement, and monitor church’s social media accounts
  • Assist with overseeing deliveries and scheduling of all printed materials

Work Week:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
